Leaders of the Congregation

Brother Earnest Carter is a Valdosta, Georgia native and is married to Sister Deborah Carter. Together, they have two daughters, Andrea Folk and Lisa Carter Demps. They have 4 grandchildren. Brother and Sister Carter have been faithful  members of church for well over 50 plus years. Brother Carter serves as an Elder and previously Associate Minister for the Southside Church of Christ before taking his current position as the new full-time minister for Southside Church of Christ starting August 2025 to the present. Brother believes in sound doctrine and works hard for the Lord's kingdom! Brother Carter is a true servant of God.
